Since July...
Baby girl and I made it to one year and two weeks nursing! She weaned like a champ. She never did take a bottle once I started back to work in August, so I would pump and freeze and my freezer was slammed full of nothing but milk. I found a few local ladies who had newborns and they were unable to nurse or to fully meet the demands of the baby and donated about 6 gallons of milk over the course of four months. Baby girl is now 18 months old and is thriving!
The middle two are doing amazing in school! They will finish up 3rd and 4th grade this year. They started piano lessons in November and I couldn't be more impressed with how quickly they have picked it up! They both recently competed in a piano guild and were awarded with excellence in piano awards for their amazing playing.
The oldest bit has just finished her first year of college and did so with an awesome academic record. I truly hate that she is so far away and that we've only had her home three times in the past year. I miss her!!
And for the biggest bit of news, we are expecting again! Baby Davis is due to arrive on December 12, 2014 (very same due date as previous baby girl). I'm currently 12 weeks along and still dealing with all day nausea from the "morning" sickness. Must have been a man who developed that term.
